CARSON CITY — The Nevada Senate today unanimously approved a bill that could save lives. The measure requires instruction in high schools about organ and tissue donations.
Sen. Julia Ratti, D-Sparks, said Senate Bill 112 would make teenagers aware of the option of becoming a donor before they get a driver’s license. Those applying for a license can sign up to be donors.
The bill now goes to the state Assembly.
