A 52-year-old Las Vegas woman died after she was hit by a taxi east of the Strip on Monday night, according to Metro Police.
The accident happened about 9 p.m. on Convention Center Boulevard just east of Las Vegas Boulevard, police said.
The woman was walking across Convention Center Boulevard outside of a crosswalk when she was struck by a taxi traveling westbound, police said.
She was taken to trauma at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead, police said.
