Officials at Lake Mead National Recreation Area today found a body with clothes that match those of a man who was reported missing on Friday, according to park officials.
Rangers encountered the body this morning in about 75 feet of water near the Lake Mead Marina, officials said. Crews used an underwater vehicle with sonar capabilities.
Wilmer Dante Morales, 22, was reported missing about 4:30 p.m. Friday, near where the body was found, officials said. He is believed to have gone into the water to retrieve a raft.
The incident remains under investigation and the identity of the body found today hadn't been confirmed this afternoon, officials said.
