Caesars Entertainment is building a zipline that will run from a 122-foot launch tower near the Las Vegas Strip 1,080 feet to the base of the High Roller Observation Wheel at the Linq, the company announced today.

The zipline attraction will be named the Fly Linq and will be able to carry 10 people at once over the Linq Promenade, the open-air mall situated between the Linq and the Flamingo.

Guests on the zipline can ride seated or in a “superman” position individually or in groups and will be able to buy photos of their experience.

Construction on the $20 million attraction is expected to begin next spring, the company said.

The company bills Fly Linq as the first on the Strip but Caesars also operates the the Voodoo Zipline, which runs between the two hotel towers of the Rio Las Vegas on Flamingo Road a block east from Las Vegas Boulevard.

Another zipline, Slotzilla, runs east to west under the canopy of the Fremont Street Experience.
