A motorcyclist died after crashing into a moving van and a bus Saturday night in the southwest valley, according to Metro Police.
The 32-year-old man was riding westbound on Tropicana Avenue when he crashed his Kawasaki ZX1000 into the side of a U-Haul GMC van that was making a left turn onto Rainbow Boulevard, police said. The van had a green arrow to turn according to police.
The collision overturned the motorcycle, causing it to slide more than 200 feet before crashing into the back of a Regional Transportation Commission bus according to police.
The motorcyclist was taken to University Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries, police said.
