CARSON CITY — Unemployment was 5.2 percent in the Las Vegas area in September, the same as the previous month, according to the state Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation.
Eureka County had a jobless rate of 2.9 percent, the lowest in the state, while Nye County was the highest at 6.5 percent.
