Nevada governor gets new legal counsel

CARSON CITY — Gov. Brian Sandoval has a new legal counsel. She is Kathryn Reynolds, the wife of Joseph Reynolds, who was a previous legal counsel to the governor before becoming chairman of the Public Utilities Commission.

Kathryn Reynolds has been a law clerk for various judges and was staff attorney for the Nevada Supreme Court. She replaces Daniel Stewart, who left the job last month.

Sandoval said Kathryn Reynolds has worked behind the scenes on many high profile cases in Nevada.
