Authorities have arrested the boyfriend of a woman found dead with a gunshot wound to the head Wednesday in front of their house, according to North Las Vegas Police.
Toby Lara, 26, was captured Thursday near Harmon Avenue and Nellis Boulevard, police said. He was booked at the Las Vegas Detention Center on a count of murder.
Police allege Lara pulled the trigger after an argument with Cynthia Alden, 37, outside their house. She died at the scene.
The shooting was reported about 2:30 p.m. in the 3200 block of Lillis Avenue, near Pecos Road and Carey Avenue, police said.
