A motorcyclist died after colliding with an SUV on Sunday in the northeast valley, according to Metro Police.
The crash happened about 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Lake Mead Boulevard and Christy Lane.
A 75-year-old man driving a Saturn Vue westbound on Lake Mead Boulevard turned left onto Christy Lane in front of Nicholas Turnbull, 28, who was riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle, police said.
The motorcycle hit the SUV, and Turnbull was thrown onto the street, police said. Turnbull was taken to University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
