Couple on motorcycle sought in purse snatching; victim hospitalized

This man is wanted in a Las Vegas purse snatching that left the victim injured.

A man and a woman on a motorcycle who snatched a woman’s purse Monday evening at Sunset Station, causing her to fall and suffer head trauma, are being sought by authorities, according to Henderson police.

The incident was reported about 5:40 p.m. at the parking lot of the hotel and casino, 1301 W. Sunset Road, police said. The 59-year-old victim was taken to Spring Valley Hospital.

Information on the extent of her injuries has not been released.

The victim was walking from her car through the lot when the pair on motorcycle rode next to her and pulled her purse from her shoulder, police said.

The suspects were described by police as a Hispanic man who wore a polo-style shirt, black shorts and white knee-high socks, and a Hispanic woman who wore a gray Manchester United hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and flip flops. They rode a black “sport-style” motorcycle, police said.
