Constituents come first

I was shocked to learn that Las Vegas Sun Publisher and Editor Brian Greenspun doesn’t know the order of priorities for elected representatives.

First and foremost, an elected representative owes allegiance to his or her constituents.

Second, to his or her party.

And last, but not least, to the country.
