Expect a more intimate performance from Mariah this time around.

Mariah Carey is coming back to the Colosseum.

One of the top-selling vocalists of all time, Carey performed a uniquely hit-packed show “Number 1 to Infinity” at the Caesars Palace theater from 2015 to 2017 and returned for a series of Christmas concerts in December. She was rumored to be heading to a new Strip venue but it was announced today that Carey will bring an all-new production called “The Butterfly Returns” to the Colosseum beginning July 5.

The show will “spotlight a more intimate performance on the Colosseum’s stage, showcasing Mariah Carey’s world-famous vocals with an all-new show that highlights her extensive catalogue of music,” according to the announcement.

Tickets will go on sale Friday, May 4 at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster. The first 12 performances are July 5, 7, 8, 10, 14 and 15, August 31 and September 1, 2, 5, 9 and 10.

Elton John is currently performing at the Colosseum, presenting the final shows of “The Million Dollar Piano” through May 17. Celine Dion resumes her residency on May 22 after a brief absence due to throat inflammation. Rod Stewart (returning June 12) and Reba, Brooks & Dunn (returning August 15) are the other current Colosseum musical residents.
