The W hotel brand is leaving the Las Vegas Strip.
The SLS casino-hotel on Wednesday announced it will assume control of the W Las Vegas, which currently occupies one of the property's three towers.
The change at the property on the northern end of the Strip will take place Friday.
The SLS in a statement says existing reservations for the W hotel past Friday will be honored.
The SLS is undergoing a $100 million renovation that began after San Francisco-based Stockbridge Capital Group sold it to the Meruelo Group earlier this year.
The property, formerly known as the Sahara, has 1,615 rooms and suites.
