Three children and one adult were hospitalized Thursday afternoon following a blaze at an east-valley motel, according to the Clark County Fire Department.
Crews responded shortly after noon to 2112 N. Nellis Blvd., near Lake Mead Boulevard, and encountered light smoke billowing from the single-story complex, officials said.
By the time they entered the affected room, the fire was out, officials said. The four victims were stabilized at University Medical Center, officials said. It wasn’t clear what led to the hospitalizations.
The Southern Nevada chapter of the American Red Cross is assisting 10 residents who were displaced, officials said. The incident remained under investigation.
