Clark County has reported its first measles case since 2015.
The Southern Nevada Health District said Thursday that tests confirmed measles in an adult who had traveled internationally and who had been vaccinated.
The district is notifying people who might have come into contact with the patient between Dec. 10 and Dec. 18. A list of the patient's whereabouts and immunization clinics are on the district's website.
Health officials say the risk of getting measles is low for anyone who has been vaccinated or who has had the disease.
Symptoms can begin up to 21 days after exposure, including the telltale rash of measles.
The respiratory infection can result in serious infections and death.
