A 21-year-old man was fatally stabbed late Friday at a house party in North Las Vegas, according to city police.
The victim died at University Medical Center, North Las Vegas Police said today.
Officers and medics were dispatched to the 3500 block of Stanley Avenue, near Owens Avenue and Pecos Road, and found a gravely wounded man outside, police said.
Witnesses told detectives that they heard “a lot of yelling” before they realized someone had been stabbed, police said. A motive for the slaying hadn’t been pinpointed, but police don’t believe it was a “random act of violence.”
No arrests have been announced and a description of a possible suspect wasn’t released.
