A minimum-security state prisoner walked away while working with a clean-up crew this morning near Lake Mead Boulevard and Torrey Pines Avenue, according to the Nevada Department of Corrections.
Jason White, 37, was serving a sentence of 38 months to 10 years for larceny, burglary, domestic battery and possession of a gun by an ex-felon, officials said. He was sentenced out of Clark County in December.
White walked away from his assignment about 10 a.m., officials said. He was wearing a blue prison uniform and black work boots.
He has tattoos including a swastika on his chest and the words “Swastika Power” on his right arm and “Trystan” on his neck, officials said.
He was being housed at Three Lakes Valley Conservation Camp, a minimum-security prison about 20 miles north of Las Vegas.
Anyone who sees White is asked to call 911.
