Why can’t we afford to feed our children and adults who go hungry but we have money to give to countries that detest us and we have presidents who waste tremendous amounts of money needlessly flying to places that have nothing to do with our security?
I cannot believe that in 2018, we haven’t learned to look after our own people who are in need. Not everyone can earn a fabulous salary. Some of us have to be a delivery person, a stock person, a mail person and so forth. Those are the people who need our help. They built and continue to build our country.
Food trucks and Boys and Girls Clubs do wonderful service, but we need to do more. People should not have to rely on those services. They should have food on their own tables. Our families must come first.
