Before President Donald Trump nominated a replacement to fill the seat of retiring Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy, Democrats were readying for another “Bork” moment. Please, define what a “far-right justice” is and who on the list of two dozen potential nominees provided by Trump before the 2016 election would meet that definition.
Remember, Kennedy was nominated by President Ronald Reagan, a conservative Republican president, in 1988, and served the highest court and our country well. He was often called the “swing voter,” and responded, “The cases swing, I don’t.”
