You had a good run, Scott Pruitt. You got your toys. No one else has a cone-of-silence telephone, and you had up to 10 people in your security detail.
Your car had a siren, but you weren’t allowed to use it to go to dinner. Your staff looked for hand lotion for you and a job for your wife. I hope she gets that $200,000-a-year job. You may need the money because you had to resign.
I’m sure your friends in the coal/oil/auto industry will show their appreciation for your work at the Environmental Protection Agency and give you a job. They made billions on your decisions, so another important job is in the wings waiting for you.
