Police: 1 killed in shooting in North Las Vegas

A man was killed and two others wounded in a shooting this morning in a North Las Vegas residential neighborhood, according to police.

One victim died at the scene and the other two were taken to University Medical Center, one of them in critical condition, North Las Vegas Police Officer Aaron Patty said.

The shooting was reported about 5:10 a.m. at a fourplex in the 2500 block of Ellis Street, northwest of Carey Avenue and Belmont Street, Patty said.

No one has been arrested and information on what may have led to the shooting wasn’t immediately available.
