An Arizona man, who'd been a fugitive for more than a decade, on Tuesday afternoon barricaded himself and took a person hostage at a complex near U.S. 95 and Galleria Drive before being arrested without further incident, according to authorities.
The U.S. Marshals late Tuesday identified the suspect as David Nguyen, a 30-year-old wanted in Pima County, Ariz., who was wanted on a warrant that charged him with armed robbery, aggravated armed robbery, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and drug possession.
Information was received that Nguyen had possibly fled to Henderson," the U.S. Marshals said. That led authorities to the Croix Townhome Apartments, 1281 Galleria, where Henderson Police said Nguyen took a person hostage. A SWAT response followed.
Henderson Police said about 6 p.m. that the suspect had surrendered to officers. There were no injuries reported to the hostage, officers or the suspect.
Nguyen was being held at the Henderson Detention Center awaiting extradition to Arizona, authorities said.

"We appreciate the continued effort, dedication and hard work by all our law enforcement partners with quickly removing felons from our community and bringing them to justice.”
