Vegas Golden Knights fans celebrate a goal against the San Jose Sharks during Game 5 of their NHL hockey second-round playoff game Friday, May 4, 2018, at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The Golden Knights won 5-3 to take a 3-2 lead in the best-of-seven series.

As the Vegas Golden Knights continue to win on the ice, they aren’t just growing a local following. They’re racking up fans worldwide.

Fans from more than 90 countries have purchased Golden Knights merchandise, according to retail giant Fanatics, which powers online sales for the Golden Knights and the NHL.

Those fans have made the Golden Knights the top-selling team for merchandise in the NHL, according to Matt Fox, a Fanatics spokesman.

The Golden Knights’ post-season run has generated even more sales.

“The Knights have sold more merchandise since the start of the playoffs than they did in the previous two months combined,” Fox said.

The influx has helped keep sales of Vegas merchandise ahead — way ahead — of the other remaining playoff teams — the Winnipeg Jets, Washington Capitals and Tampa Bay Lightning.

“The Knights have sold more merchandise this month than the rest of the remaining playoff teams combined,” Fox said.

The top-selling item: Marc Andre-Fleury jerseys.
