A brush fire near the Clark County Wetlands Park was reported this afternoon, according to fire officials.
At about 5:30 p.m., the Clark County Fire Department was notified of the blaze outside the wetlands area, which is in the east valley near Sam Boyd Stadium, Deputy Fire Chief Kelly Blackmon said in a statement.
Fire crews from the Bureau of Land Management have been called to assist.
Further details were not immediately available.
