RENO — Reno police say they've arrested a man accused of 273 incidents of graffiti.
The police department said in a statement Tuesday that 27-year-old Trevor Gibson was arrested last week following an investigation by the city's gang unit.
The department estimates the damage from the graffiti cost more than $30,000.
Police did not release details about the investigation or the graffiti but say the markings have all been cleaned up or painted over.
Police spokesman Sgt. Brian Dye did not return messages Wednesday seeking additional information.
Court records do not show charges filed against Gibson and he has no listed attorney.
Gibson did not have a publicly listed phone number where someone could be reached to comment on his behalf.
