Jordan Blakely had a 65-yard touchdown run for the Foothill High football team on its first offensive play tonight against visiting Chaparral in a 26-6 victory to close the regular season.
Blakely also scored on a short touchdown run to close the first half for the Falcons, which host Durango in next week's Desert Region quarterfinals.

It’s a rematch of earlier in the season when Foothill (9-1 overall) won by 14 points.
“We’ll have to execute better than we did tonight,” Foothill coach Marty Redmond said. “We know from playing them earlier in the year that they are a very good team.”
Koy Riggin had a pair of second-half touchdown passes, hooking up with Blakely for a 10-yard scoring strike and connecting with Matt Hanson for a 40-yard score.
Chaparral kicker Dennis Perez booted two field goals, including a 50-yard attempt.
