Police are searching for a murder suspect who was seen in this vehicle.

Metro Police detectives continue to investigate the slaying of a male pedestrian shot by a gunman, who ran up from behind, opened fire, and then pumped more bullets into him as he lay on the ground.

In a push to catch the perpetrator of the Nov. 4 broad daylight shooting, Metro on Tuesday released a photo of a sedan the alleged suspect fled in.

The victim had been walking with his girlfriend in front of Rainbow Dreams Academy, 950 W. Lake Mead Blvd., east of Martin Luther King, when gunfire erupted, police said.

Officers and medics, dispatched about 12:30 p.m., encountered the mortally wounded victim, who died at University Medical Center, police said. He was identified as Jeremy Seals, 20, according to reports.

“Detectives believe that the victim was targeted and that the shooting was retaliatory due to the victim having been involved in a previous altercation,” police wrote in a news release.

A probe also determined that as the wounded victim lay on the ground, the suspect stood over him and pulled the trigger several more times, police said.

The gunman was described by Metro as a light-skin black man. His car is a white newer model, four-door Mercedes-Benz.
