The Metro Police Communications Center experienced a power outage early today, forcing 911 emergency calls to be temporarily rerouted to Henderson and North Las Vegas, officials said.

The system disruption, which occurred about 4:45 a.m., lasted about 10 minutes, Metro said. The 911 calls have now been routed back to Metro's dispatch center, police said.
