More than 4.4 million travelers passed through McCarran International Airport in October, making it the busiest month in the facility's history, according to the Clark County Department of Aviation.
A total of 4,436,756 people arrived or departed the Las Vegas airport last month, up 2.2 percent from the same time last year.
It was the second time passenger traffic surpassed 4.4 million, and the third month this year a record has been shattered, officials said.
A total 41,728,325 people have traveled through the airport this year, about 970,000 more than the same period last year, officials said.
