Police: Video captures suspect, car in fatal shooting

A man who was critically wounded in a shooting earlier this month near Decatur Boulevard and Tropicana Avenue died Tuesday, according to Metro Police.

Police today released surveillance video of a suspect in an effort to identify him.

Officers responded about 3:45 a.m. on Nov. 20 to Spring Valley Hospital, where a man with a gunshot wound had turned up, police said. He was transferred to University Medical Center, where he later died, police said.

Police said they think the victim was shot near the 4700 block of Decatur. No motive was revealed.

It wasn't clear how investigators identified the suspect. He drove a light-colored Chevrolet sedan, police said.

Surveillance video of the suspect and car were captured at an unidentified convenience store, police said.
