“They deserve a lot of credit for what they have accomplished at this stage of the season,” Foothill coach Marty Redmond said of the 7-0 record. “I couldn’t be more proud of them.”
Foothill scored on each of its four possessions in the first half, including Jordan Wilson opening the scoring with a 6-yard touchdown run. On the next possession, Wilson completed a pass on a trick play to Jordan Blakely for a score.
Jakob Petry also had a touchdown pass to Blakely, and Koy Riggin — the starting quarterback — threw a touchdown pass to Braeden Wilson.
“The offense played well,” Redmond said. “We came out and were able to score real fast.”
