Henderson Police: 2 slaying victims found during welfare check

Henderson Police are probing the slaying of a man and a woman whose bodies were found Friday night during a welfare check.

The victims appeared to have suffered head injuries from at least one suspect, who hasn’t been arrested, Officer Katrina Rothmeyer said Saturday evening. A motive hasn’t been determined.

Police responded about 10 p.m. to the 400 block of Forest Street, near Warm Springs Road and Major Avenue, Rothmeyer said.

The victims will be publicly identified by the Clark County Coroner’s Office. They were the 13th and 14th homicide victims in Henderson in 2018.
