After Brett Kavanaugh was sworn in as a U.S. Supreme Court justice, I decided to buy a red MAGA hat.
For two years, I hoped that propriety, norms, rules and justice would prevail, but that will not happen. The new norm is to support corporate goals, ignore environmental decay, reverse advances for minorities, praise the dear leader, believe lies and feign prosperity for the middle class.
This philosophy seems to be winning. I once thought the Russia investigation would right wrongs, yet this too will likely be disassembled before completion, with the results not released. My new hat will be here in a few days, then I will be with the winning team. I just have to convince myself that I am winning and still not tired of winning.
