Arbor View’s matchup with Palo Verde on Thursday turned into a playoff tuneup for the Aggies, as they rolled to a 49-0 win.

Senior running back Kyle Graham got loose in the first half for 151 rushing yards and three touchdowns, and Arbor View took a 35-0 lead into the break. In the second half, sophomore quarterback Jack Branham threw a pair of touchdown passes to junior receiver Justin Hausner to cap the scoring.

Arbor View coach Dan Barnson was happy with the focus his team showed heading into the playoffs.

“I’m proud of the kids because they excelled on both sides,” Barnson said. “The defense came out and played really, really well. It was a complete game, and we haven’t had one of those in a while. It’s nice to build on that going into the playoffs.”
