A motorcyclist was killed this morning when he collided with a car turning into a private driveway, according to North Las Vegas Police.
The crash happened about 5:40 a.m. in the area of West Cheyenne Avenue and Allen Lane, police said. The 38-year-old motorcyclist was headed west on Cheyenne when he collided with a car trying to turn north into a private drive, police said.
The motorcycle rider was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The Clark County Coroner’s Office will release his name after his family is notified.
The driver of the car was taken to a hospital with minor injuries, police said.
The wreck is under investigation, and no charges have been filed, police said. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor, police said.
