Little Big Town accepts an award during the 51st annual Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday, April 3, 2016, at MGM Grand Garden Arena.

The Academy of Country Music announced today that the 54th ACM Awards will broadcast live from MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas from 7 to 10 p.m. Sunday, April 7, 2019, on the CBS Television Network.

The 54th ACM Awards, honoring and showcasing the biggest names and emerging talent in country music, will feature exciting performances, unprecedented collaborations, surprising moments and more to be announced in the coming months, according to a news release.

Today's announcement does not mention who will be hosting the 2019 ACMs. As previously reported, Country Music Hall of Famer McEntire, a Chockie native, returned as the host of the 2018 ACM Awards after a five-year absence. In her 15th appearance as host, she delighted with her quick sense of humor and striking wardrobe changes, and the show was a ratings hit, with more than 12 million viewers tuning in, the show's largest audience since 2015.
