Metro Police has released a video of a man they said forcefully entered a west valley pet store this morning and stole two puppies.

The German shepherd and Pomeranian said to be taken about 6:45 a.m. in the 8800 block of West Charleston Boulevard, near Buffalo Drive, were still missing Friday afternoon. The man has bleached blond hair and walks with a limp.

Surveillance images from the store captured the perpetrator, who walks with a limp.

He was described by police as a white man in his early 20s who stands about 5 feet, 10 inches, and weighs 170 pounds. His shoulder length hair is bleached and has brown roots.

The suspect wore a gray hooded sweatshirt, black shorts, boots and white socks, police said. He hauled a backpack and a long skateboard.
