A week after a man was slain and another wounded in a shooting in a parking lot of a southwest valley apartment complex, a suspect was in handcuffs, according to Metro Police.

The suspect, Dishan Lowe, 26, turned himself in Wednesday to a task force that’d been looking for him, police said. Further details on his arrest were not immediately available.

Lowe, who is being held on counts of murder, attempted murder and battery with a deadly weapon, was being held without bond at the Clark County Detention Center.

A week prior — on Feb. 6 — officers responded at about 5:45 p.m. to 6300 Riley St., near Sunset Road and Durango Drive, and found two men with gunshot wounds near the complex’s office, police said.

Both men were rushed to University Medical Center where one of them died, police said. The other was shot in the arm, which was not life-threatening.

An investigation determined that the victims — co-workers — had arrived in separate cars at the location, where at least one of them lived, police said.

The surviving victim told police that he’d witnessed the other victim and Lowe arguing, so he parked and got out to see what was happening, police said. That’s when Lowe opened fire on both men before fleeing, police said.

Lowe is next scheduled in court on Feb. 28, jail logs show.
