Metro releases video of potential slaying suspects

Suspect

METRO POLICE

A screen grab from a Metro Police-released video shows a suspect in a Dec. 31, 2018, slaying.

Weeks after a fatally wounded victim was dropped off at Spring Valley Hospital, Metro Police have released video they say show the suspects.

Officers were dispatched at about 9:30 p.m. Dec. 31 to the hospital on South Rainbow Boulevard where a man was dropped off by an unknown person, who left before police arrived.

“Through the course of the investigation,” detectives pinpointed where the victim was shot and obtained clear surveillance video in which a trio of suspects were at the location around the time of the shooting, police said in a news release.

One edited clip shows a man waiting by the front door and looking up at a camera. A second video shows the same man running away, while two other men scramble. One of them is wearing blue rubber gloves and appears to have a gun on his hip.

Police didn’t publicly identify the location, and more details on how and when they found the crime scene weren’t immediately released.
