How did we ever get to this place where 20-30 percent of the population is afraid of anyone who isn’t like them; where respect, dignity, ethics and the rule of law no longer matter; and where lying has become acceptable and brushed off as irrelevant?
I fear for our children who grow up and think this is the norm.
