A motorcyclist was killed Sunday when he collided with a car making a left turn into a business plaza, North Las Vegas Police said.
The motorcyclist was headed west on Lake Mead Boulevard, approaching Belmont Street, about 7 p.m. when the car, which was stopped in the center turn lane, attempted to make the left turn, police said.
The 51-year-old motorcyclist, whose name was not released, was taken to University Medical Center in Las Vegas, where he died, police said.
Investigators do not believe speed or impairment was a factor in the crash, police said.
The Clark County Coroner’s Office will release the man’s name after his family is notified.
