You would think that avid supporters of President Donald Trump would be frustrated defending the more than 7,000 lies or false statements Trump has made in one fashion or another since he took office, as well as the many questionable moves he has made — such as separating children from their parents.
But they are not, because they are living in the same fantasy world as Trump. In their world, he has never told a lie or had a bad idea. Devout Christians rarely, if ever, question the Bible. Devout Trump supporters rarely, if ever, question Trump. If you have ever tried to reason with a Trump supporter or questioned Trump’s views or actions, you know what I mean. There is no reasoning with them.
It took the bombing of Berlin to get the majority of Adolf Hitler’s supporters to begin to see reality. What event will it be take to have Trump supporters join us in the real world?
