Worker hurt in fall inside Paris casino balloon-shaped sign

Clark County Firefighters rescue a worker who fell inside the balloon-shaped sign at the Paris Las Vegas on Thursday, Jan. 31, 2019.

Firefighters rescued a worker who fell today inside the balloon-shaped sign atop the marquee at the Paris Las Vegas, according to the Clark County Fire Department.

The worker was hospitalized with survivable injuries, officials said.

The department's heavy rescue team responded to the Strip property about 12:40 p.m., officials said.
