A person was taken to University Medical Center in unknown condition today after a shooting just east of downtown Las Vegas, according to Metro Police.
The shooting was reported about 2:15 p.m. in the 2000 block of Constantine Avenue, near Washington Avenue and Bruce Street, police said.
A number of people were detained, an the investigation was ongoing, police said.
