6 in balloon crash released from hospital

Six people injured in a hot air balloon crash in Nevada have been released from the hospital.

University Medical Center of Southern Nevada spokesman Scott Kerbs said Friday only one of the seven patients taken to the hospital Thursday remains.

U.S. authorities said at least seven people were injured Thursday morning when a hot air balloon's basket tipped over after hitting the ground.

Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Ian Gregor says a preliminary review found the Kubicek balloon made a hard landing Thursday, and the pilot and four passengers were thrown from the gondola.

Gregor says the balloon continued bouncing for about a half-mile, with another four passengers ejected.

The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the crash.
