The driver of a flatbed truck was killed this morning after running off the road, according to Henderson Police.
The crash happened about 8:45 a.m. on Eastgate Road, just north of Auto Show Drive, police said.
The truck was headed north on Eastgate when it ran off the road, police said. Speed is believed to have been a factor, police said.
The driver, who was not identified, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The Clark County Coroner’s Office will release the person’s name once their family has been notified.
Eastgate Road was closed in both directions between Auto Show Drive and Commercial Way for about four hours as officers investigated, police said.
