I don’t know it for a fact, but I believe it’s true, that during the American Revolution, there were those who thought British rule wasn’t that bad, but joined the revolution because “united we stand.”
During World War I and World War II, I believe there were those who thought we shouldn’t get involved, but for the good of our country did what they could, because “united we stand.”
I’m sure there have been countless times we’ve disagreed but come together, because “united we stand.”
Well folks, this is one more time we disagree — about wearing masks to curb the coronavirus. I can only pray that we come together because “united we stand “ and divided we fall.
