The pending impeachment trial taking place in the U.S. Senate is a perfect time for Republican senators who privately complain about President Donald Trump’s actions, his constant lying, self-dealing and general incompetence, to stand up and vote to remove him.
They don’t want to deal with him. They don’t like him (they will say so in private but not on the record), and this is the perfect chance to get rid of him.
The only thing standing between justice and the American people are the cowards who break their collective oaths of office to defend and protect the Constitution and toady themselves to this man.
Trump is an abomination of everything America stands for, as are all of his minions surrounding him. To save our democracy he must go now.
