CCSD Provides Meals During Closures

Young students walk away with meals at Basic High School in Henderson, Monday, March 16, 2020. The Clark County School District (CCSD) will continue providing breakfast and lunch to students during the closure at 15 school locations throughout the valley from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Launch slideshow »

Food distribution centers will be set up at 21 schools across the Las Vegas Valley in rural parts of the county from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. daily.

Academic resources for students also are available at these sites. Those obtaining food must have school-aged children present with them, the district said.

CCSD is working with local and state government along with community partners to establish additional food distribution options, which will be shared with parents “as soon as it is available,” the district said.
