A person was found dead this morning in a fire at a vacant house, according to Las Vegas Fire & Rescue officials.
The fire was reported about 5 a.m. in the 1700 block of Eastern Avenue, just south of Oakey Boulevard.
.The victim was found in a bedroom of the single-story house, which had been boarded up, officials said.
Nobody else was injured, officials said.
Firefighters put out the blaze within about 20 minutes, officials said. The cause of the fire was under investigation, officials said.
The house was previously damaged in another fire on March 26, officials said.
The fire department, Metro Police and Clark County Coroner's Office were investigating, officials said.
